Tutorial: How to Run Multiple Streams to Justin.tv

This guide right here will show you how to run Multiple LIVE Streams to Justin.tv servers. It cane be two, three, four or how many you can handle on your PC. The most ideal is to run two (dual) streams at once to JTV.

All you need is:

- Have your stream setup already
- Create Another XML File

1) Initial Setup

So you most likely already know how to stream with FME using GUI or FME based so your settings are already saved to your liking. If you do not, you can view how to stream to Justin.tv HERE and/or via CMD HERE.

2) Create Another XML File

Just copy your XML you already have OR go to your second channel and download your LIVE Stream XML file for that account. You may also just copy the code when you are in Advanced Stream settings while you're logged in at JTV.

3) Settings for Multiple Stream

To make things easier, INPUT ALL of your settings with FME GUI (Regular Open) of FME to make things easier on you. No manually looking for the correct settings with a Text Editor.

Under BitRate, you will see 1, 2, and 3 marked. Number 1 will be checked as that's your PRIMARY Account which would be your BEST Quality Stream setting wise. To get another Stream going at the same time, put a Check next to Number 2. Doing so will make FME Prompt you that you cannot run Auto Adjust when Multi Streaming. That is fine for now.

Input your BitRate according to your Internet Connection and set your OUTPUT Resolution to what you want it to be. Make sure you have enough Bandwidth to Run your LIVE Streams and to view them at the same time.

4) Test Your Newly Created Multi Stream Settings
All you have to do is Hit START and then check each stream for ANY hiccups. It's best to have some people(s) to help you test.

MISC
You may run this in FME CMD and I Highly Recommend this, as it reduces A LOT of Resources (Load) on your System.
